(Consider things like her tattoo, her actions…) Jaime entered the room. She pushed through the door and the tattoo on her bare arm brushed against Mr. Jameson’s blue suit jacket. After sitting down cross-legged on the waiting room chair, Jaime leaned toward the woman sitting next to her and tapped her long, blue fingernail on the woman’s shoulder. “Could ya quiet your kid down? I’m trying to concentrate on my lines.” Jaime stared hard at the kid who was tugging on his mother’s arm and begging for candy.

INDIRECT: the writer reveals information about a character and his personality through that character's thoughts, words, and actions, along with how other characters respond to that character, including what they think and say about him.
