1. PROACTIVE – set up an online profile (website, Facebook page, Twitter account).
2. NETWORK – most jobs you get are through connections – websites (LinkedIn) can help.
3. RESEARCH - Before you start applying for a job.
What companies are hiring? Where are they hiring? What kind of applicant are they looking for? What does the company need? How can you improve yourself to become what the company is looking for?
Do some research before sending out your resume.
