A Peek at Our Week
Reading:
The book Chicka Chicka Boom Boom will teach us that we have 26 letters in our alphabet and each one has it’s own unique formation. We will create a class book from the pattern of the story too.
Letter Aa as in apple will be our Letter of the Week
Math:
We will be identifying parts of shapes and sorting shapes by their attributes such as straight lines, corners and curved lines. We will begin writing numbers too.
Writing:
We will learn about our journals this week! Remind your student about story ideas
Science/Social Studies:
We will meet Kelso the frog and learn about our good choice options here at school.
Language:Taking Turns to Speak
P.M. Bus transportation for kindergarten begins Monday
Please REMEMBER: RED STUDENT BUS TAGS must be returned every day. Place them in your student’s Blue Folder. THANKYOU!!!

We have had a blast the first weeks of kindergarten!! We are ready to learn
Learning Centers
We will start our Reading Block rotations this week. The children will be moving from center to center and be responsible for their learning and behavior at the centers now. We’ve been practicing and now we are ready to do our best.
Volunteers are absolutely welcome in our room! We could benefit from your assistance during reading.
