4 Attendance Send an excuse as soon as possible when your child misses school If your child has more than 5 unexcused absences you will be required to have an attendance conference at school in order to develop a plan Please drop your child off by 7:50 -if dropped off early they will wait in the gym with our class until called for breakfast. If they are not eating breakfast they will remain in the gym until school starts

5 Transportation If your child is going home a different during the school year you MUST send a note. Unless there is a note in your child’s B.E.E. book they will go home the way they normally do. If your child rides a bus there must be an adult to meet them at the stop in order for them to get off the bus. If there is no one to meet them they will return back to school.

7 Free Lunch and Breakfast Lunch and breakfast are free this year for all students. -Students will make their lunch choices on the metal pans by the door. -We eat lunch from 11:10 to 11:35 *Please come eat with your child!!! –but not until after the first 2 weeks of school!

8 Clip Chart All students begin each day with their clip on green. When your child is caught showing great behavior they will clip up, and earn a piece of candy from our candy jar

9 Prize Boxes 5 prize boxes -Start each week with 5 points if your child doesn’t clip down all week they keep all 5 points and shop in the 5 point prize box on Friday -Each time your child clips down they will loose a point. The prize box they get to shop in on Friday is determined by the amount of points they have. *Each prize box has small prizes than the previous box.

11 Homework Goes home everyday in their B.E.E. book Everything is on the same sheet with directions on what to complete (math attached) Please complete homework with your child and sign everynight!

12 Accidents Bring a pair of extra clothes on the first day If soiled clothes are brought home please send your child to school the next day with a new pair of extra clothes

13 Medicine We are not allowed to give your child any sort of medicine Any medicine your child needs must be bought to school by you and given to the school nurse. Medicine must be in the original container with the label and instruction on the container. -PLEASE do not send your child to school with the medicine

14 Istation Monthly assessment Literacy/Reading Skills Places students in tiers

15 September Conferences After having time to work with and get to know your child I will request a conference to update you on their progress. I will send home forms for you to fill out and sign up for a conference. (In the red folder) Conferences will be held around the middle or end of September
