Language Arts: Personal pronouns (he, she, it, etc.); Beginning, Middle, End; Creative writing prompt (If I were stuck in a snow globe…); Fundations – Finished Unit 5: multi syllable short vowel words.
Math: telling time to the nearest five minutes; introduction to elapsed time
Science: Penguins – characteristics of and differences; Penguin report work
Social Studies: Martin Luther King Jr. Steps in the right direction activity

Electives!
At the beginning of the 3rd quarter, we will join the 3rd/4th grade classes for electives. This is an opportunity for students to engage in multi-age learning activities we can’t typically cover in class. We will participate twice a week, and a sign-up genius will be sent so you and your child can choose something they are interested in. Please look for more information as we get closer to Jan. 23rd !
