Social Studies: Black History Month research project; Mrs. Wooten’s presentation on slavery (we’re looking forward to other parent presentations in the next 2 weeks.

Addition with Regrouping
This week we learned the partial sums method and the post-it note trick for addition with regrouping. Be sure to ask your child to show you each one!
Nursing meets 2nd Grade
On Monday, February 13th we were able to collaborate with Carlow University nursing students. They talked to us about good sleep habits, as well as mindfulness techniques such as yoga and deep breathing. These techniques can be used anytime to help us remain calm and focused. The students had a wonderful time following along with the yoga story!
