Geography of England An Island, lots of rivers, farmland, limited amount of land, & many cites. London became urban hub for Industrial Revolution. French Blockades lead to British needing to grow more food. (Napoleon)

High Unemployment Enclosure Movement Law allowed landowners to fence off lands for private use Peasants couldn’t afford private property hungry Peasants flock to cities looking for new jobs in factories
