3 Welcome to Teen Leadership! This is a class designed to enhance your leadership skills and develop and cultivate a strong sense of who you are as a young leader! Even if you do not consider yourself a leader, you will uncover qualities and skills within yourself by the end of the semester. The key to this is YOU….what you put into this class and its activities is what you will take from it. It will only be as meaningful as you allow it to be.

4 What will be the objectives of this class? Students will identify and demonstrate effective social skills. Students will analyze and evaluate self-concept, self- confidence, and self-esteem. Students will compose and present several speeches and team presentations. Students will complete daily journal entries which reflect on related issues. Students will identify and demonstrate the concept of leadership and its impact on society.

You may turn assignments in late, for partial credit until the end of class the next time the class meets after the original due date. After the secondary deadline, the work may still be completed and turned in, but will NOT receive credit. Please use your FULL NAME (First and Last) on all assignments Assignments should be neat, easy to read, on full sheets of paper, and done to the best of your ability.
