GCSEs can determine the sixth form you go to. For Example College. GCSEs determine the qualifications you take next. In my case it would be a singer. They could be used to assess if you're suitable for a uni course GCSEs may limit the universities you can apply to.

Berklee does not have specific GPA or test score requirements, nor does it have any specific class ranking requirements. You must be able to speak English and must have completed high school/secondary school by the time they enroll at Berklee. Our audition and interview process along with our comprehensive and holistic evaluation of each applicant provides us with a wealth of information to assess your ability to succeed at Berklee. Berklee Graduate Requirements

Develop the concepts, skills, and methodologies needed to succeed in today’s evolving music business. You will study and develop business and marketing plans focused on the key verticals that all music industry entrepreneurs and professionals need to know: music publishing, licensing, management, touring, marketing, entrepreneurship, and legal aspects.

You won't be limited to studying any one style of music, but will work with master musicians in a variety of genres, such as salsa, rock, Afro-Cuban jazz, Arabic, and Balkan music. You'll focus on concert performance in a variety of styles and on professional-level production of performance projects in a variety of media with extensive coursework in music business and music technology.

Singers read and interpret musical compositions and apply their voice and style to create a song. Singers use one or more vocal ranges, such as alto, baritone, or bass in certain music styles, including folk, rock, country, gospel, jazz, or rap. Those working as singers might find employment as back-up performers for bands, commercial jingle singers, cruise ship singers, nightclub entertainers, or even vocal teachers.

A bachelor's degree in music with a specialization in vocal performance is offered at many colleges, universities, and performing and visual arts colleges. Core courses might include music theory, music composition, and music history. Some singers may choose to continue their education and seek a master's degree in music. If no formal degree is pursued, those interested in becoming singers might take private singing lessons from professional vocal coaches.

Singers need more than a great singing voice and a distinct style to succeed in singing professions. Determination, perseverance, self-discipline, self-confidence, and the ability to face rejection are all traits that singers must develop. Communication and interpersonal skills are also important, as singers work with many different people, including managers, agents, recording label executives, and recording studio personnel.

There are many opportunities to become a singer or anything you want in life. You just need your education : GCSE passes, Bachelor’s Degree and Masters or Doctorate. Skills come after, the abilities you must have to be what you for example a singer. Being singer requires you to have a Bachelors degree, must be determined, self-confident and self-discipline. All is needed is to study at a good college and get good grades to succeed in that particular area you desire.
