3 3/4/ MILITARY LIAISON KEY TASKS –Develop partnerships with the Military and Employers and Build a Unit file of employers. –Assist RC commands and units in developing and conducting their own employer relations program –Provide training materials –Ensure that unit members are aware of ESGR programs and services –Gain access to known employers = SOS signed –Report your Unit contact’s to Doris Schmitt at Madison ESGR office

5 3/4/ MOBILIZATION / DEMOBILIZATION Assisting units during pre-mobilization, demobilization and Reintegration events –Mob/demob data sent to Field Committees each month by NCESGR –Travel to conduct mob and demob briefings paid by NCESGR
6 3/4/ Tips for Success Stress the appointment of a Unit Employer Support Representative Ensure Military Liaison or USERRA poster is posted in each armory/reserve center Ensure unit has ample supply of ESGR info (pocket cards, fact sheets, handouts, etc…) Encourage award nominations and SOS statements (keep track) Collect and distribute employer success stories (especially at de-mobilization)
