IMMIGRATIO N Old immigrants from Northern and Western Europe [mostly Protestant Christians] came before the Turn of the Century [1607 – 1876] did NOT welcome New Immigrants from Southern and Eastern Europe Who came at the Turn of the Century [1877 – 1920]

New Immigrants flooded the cities of America and lived in Ethnic Ghettoes - URBANIZATION
