Seedless Vascular Plants What is a vascular plant? A plant that contains vascular tissues such as xylem and phloem to transport water and minerals throughout the plant.

Include: Ferns Club mosses Horsetails Whisk ferns

Ferns have true leaves, stems and roots.

Club mosses live in moist areas and look like miniature trees.

In ferns and other vascular plants the sporophyte generation is the dominant stage.
