Entering my classroom  You are to enter the computer lab in a professional manner. That means, no running or loud talking. Let’s learn from Mr. Papadopulos. Listen to the video and write facts on a sheet of paper that conveys something you have learned. Put your name on your paper.

Beginning of Class Period Upon entering the computer lab, quietly begin your assigned bell ringer When done, submit your work and begin the assigned daily assignment

End of Class Time Make sure you have returned all textbooks and instruction sheets to their respective locations.  Log-off (do not shut down)your computer

Restroom Breaks  If you need to go to the restroom. Raise your hand and if given permission, take a hall pass.  Do not ask to go to the restroom if I am lecturing.

When Absent  Send in a note from your parent within 3 days of an absent. Give the note to the student center before 7:45 am.  Put make-up work in the make-up basket.

Tardies  You are to be in your seat beginning your bell assignment by the time the tardy bell rings.  I will call roll immediately after the tardy bell  4 th Tardy will result in disciplinary action

Food and Drinks  Only drinks with a closable lid are allowed in the lab.  All drinks are to remain in your backpack.  No food is allowed in the Computer Lab unless brought in by the teacher as a reward or part of a lesson.

Lab Safety and Etiquette  Listen to the following video and write down 5 facts you learned from the video. Make sure to put your name on your paper. We want to hear what you wrote down

Technical Equipment  Respect the computer lab equipment.  Do not change the screen display in any way  Do not pull or unplug any cable in the lab. Raise your hand if you have a problem with your computer  IF you have a problem with your computer, sit quietly without talking and wait patiently until you are given a new assignment

Be Prepared! Come to class with a writing utensil and plenty of paper. If I find out that you have come to class unprepared…it will affect your grade.  Again, please know that if you ask to borrow a pencil or a piece of paper..I will have to take off points in your gradebook.

Sleeping  No sleeping in class. If you are done with your work, find something to read or work with an approved web site. I wasn't sleeping. I was trying to pick up my contact lens without my hands

Electronic Devices  No cell phone use while in class  No ipod use while in class

Online Games and Streaming  I will have a list of educational game sites that you may frequent if you have all of your work done.  No unapproved game sites allowed. If you are at a game site and I have not given you permission, your behavior will result in disciplinary action.  No streaming music as this slows down our bandwidth on our network.  If you know of some good educational sites..let me know what they are and I might add them to my list THE END!
