This is the website for the Woodlands Junior School. It has resources for students up to Grade Six and there are resources on Numeracy, Literacy and Science, as well as some games for students. There are hundreds of different resources on the website and many of them are interactive and can be used on the Interactive Whiteboard.

BBC Schools contains many sub sites with a lot of resources for both students and teachers. Content can be found by different subject areas and many of the subject areas have different educational games which can be used on the whiteboard or by students sitting at their own computer.

Primary Resources contains several different resources in lots of different subject areas, including Numeracy, Literacy, ICT, History and Science. The site is hosted by RM, who are the developers behind the Easiteach Software. Primary Resources also contains lesson plans and activity ideas.

FUSE stands for Find, Use and Share and essentially replaces Digilearn. FUSE contains Australian curriculum links and professional learning for teachers. It will be integrated into the Ultranet when the Ultranet is launched later in the year.

The Adrian Bruce website is run by an ex teacher who now runs Professional Development Sessions for teachers with integrating ICT into the curriculum. There are several different Teamboard Resources on this website, as well as links to free educational software, which does not require registration.

PrimaryGames.com is not the type of website that you can leave for the students to play by themselves, as it contains some distracting games, but it does have some excellent Maths, Language and Literacy activities which can be used on the Teamboard or on a computer with a student.

Fun Brain.com has a lot of different educational resources for children related to Maths and Reading. The activities are catered for Prep to Grade Six and a lot of the activities only require a mouse click, which means they are excellent on an Interactive Whiteboard.

The next few slides contain some quick fun Englishgames that can be used with students for a variety of different purposes. ves/literacy/wordclasses/adjective_detective.swf Adjective Detective ves/literacy/wordclasses/nouns.asp Naming Nouns

The next few slides contain some quick fun Englishgames that can be used with students for a variety of different purposes. _grammar/word_types/play.shtml This website contains a game on different word types, it is quick complicated and aimed at a higher level. The BBC has included a HTML code with the game so it can be embedded into a school website or blog for free. ml The Sentence game is a great, quick game where students need to identify what sort of sentence is shown in a box, when the students answer correctly they progress, like a board game.

The next few slides contain some quick fun Maths games that can be used with students for a variety of different purposes. Times Tables Practice junior.kent.sch.uk/maths/mathionaire/index.htm Maths Millionaire (General Knowledge)

The next few slides contain some quick fun Maths games that can be used with students for a variety of different purposes. oaded/uploaded_resources/503/clock.swf This clock is excellent to use on the Interactive Whiteboard as you can switch between 24 hour time and you can make lots of modifications to the clock face. tml This pattern website allows you to create patterns with blocks and move the shapes around, it excellent with the younger levels but is also really good for teaching tesselation.
