2 Importing Smart Notebook files
With AlphaTeach you are able to natively import your pre-existing Smart Notebook files with ease! Just hit File --> Open Now find your file where ever it is saved and hit Open.

3 Tools Slide Menu New Page
By pressing this you are able to add as many new pages as you need! Next / Previous Slide This allows you to easily swap between pages in your document. Alternatively, you can just click on the slides if you prefer. Slide Menu This menu allows you to clone or delete individual slides

8 Choosing Pens Pens Choosing pens is very simple. Simply select any of the preset pens on the menu bar. To change colour, navigate to this menu. To change thickness, navigate to this menu.

To change the font, click here The textbox button is located here To change the size, click here

10 How to Change Backgrounds
By right clicking on the background you will find the menu show to the side. This has two useful tools – Backgrounds and Grids. If you pick ‘backgrounds’ this allows you to change the background of your page.

11 How to Change Backgrounds
Grid Inside the grids menu you have a few styles of paper to choose from. Two of the most popular are Squared and Handwriting. To access the squared paper select ‘Normal’ in the drop down menu. Now you can change the size of squares and customize further with Snap positions, resize and lines. ** Don't forget to tick ‘show grid’ or it won't appear **

13 By pressing the down arrow on any object you access the objects menu.
Object Menu This menu gives you lots of tools to edit your object. This includes favourites like Copy and Paste, Clone and Ordering.

14 Resource Finder - Images
In this interface, users have the ability to search for images and then drag them straight onto the page.

15 Annotate onto the video
Resource Finder - Videos Screenshot of video Annotate onto the video Resource Finder - Video In this interface, users have the ability to again search for videos and then drag them straight onto the page. The interface then allows the user to annotate over the video and collect screenshots that can be later used in a storyboard.

16 Annotation Mode Annotation Mode
Possibly one of the best tools, but also hardest to get your head around! By pressing the ‘Screen Annotation' button you will see the toolbar above. This allows you to choose a pen and annotate over whatever you are doing, be it a website, document, computer program or picture. Once done, by pressing the         button, your annotation will be sent to AlphaTeach.

17 Toolbar Customization
Within this menu, by pressing ‘Add’, you can add your own custom pens or shapes to the toolbar. Simply choose the colour and thickness and then press 'ok'. This will add your custom tool to the toolbar.

18 Multi User Mode Multi User Mode
In this mode all content on the screen is pulled into a split screen. From here, two users can work side by side with content in either collaboration or competition.
