2 Click on this button to move to the previous slide of your notebook. Click on this button to move to the next slide of your notebook. Click on this button to add a new page to your current notebook.

3 Click on this button to open a notebook that had been previously saved. Click on this button to save the current notebook that you are working with. Click on this button to paste the data most recently added to the clipboard.

4 Click on this button to undo recent actions. Click on this button to redo an action that was recently “undo”. Click on this button to delete highlighted data/text/pictures/etc.

5 Click on this button to place a curtain over the active notebook page. Use the gray dots to raise/lower/move left/move right the curtain. Click on this button a second time to turn the curtain off.

6 Click on this button to cause the current notebook page to be displayed full screen (presentation mode). The menu shown below will appear on the screen. Click the blue title bar to move the menu to a new location. The three dots on the menu will display the pop-up menu. Click on the Full Screen View icon a second time to end Full Screen View. Click on the double arrow to see addition menu icons. Locked parts of the notebook may NOT be selected.

7 Click on this button to view two notebook pages (in sequential order) at the same time. Click on this button a second time to return to 1 page.

8 Click on this button to create a still photo of a screen or part of a screen (in any software). Click on this icon and move to the specific software. The menu will move with you. Then select the desired menu item. Use the mouse to capture part of a screen (if desired). 9 Click on this button to activate the SMART Document Camera. Mulvane does not currently have this option (as far as I know). Additional instructions will be posted as needed. This button requires a document camera attached to your computer.

10 Click on this button to add a table to your active notebook page. The first image below will appear. Use the mouse to highlight the size of the new table (see second image). The third image (top) is the table that is created. Outline the table using the mouse to move/edit the table (third image-bottom).

11 Click on this button to select an item on the active notebook page. Remember there are times you must “put other tools away” before selecting an item on the active notebook page. The pen tool is one example.

12 Click on this button to draw/write on the active notebook page. Notice the variety of choices (left-bottom image). Select the PROPERTIES (left-middle image) button from the toolbar for additional options (right image). Remember you may right click on an object to see a pop-up menu.

14 Click on this button to erase any highlighted or selected information from the active workbook page. This menu will appear. It allows you to select the size of the eraser. Use the mouse to erase any pen drawings. Remember to use the select tool and the delete key on the keyboard to erase pictures, tables, or text boxes.

16 Click on this button to place shapes (using the mouse) on the active notebook page. Notice the variety of choices (left-bottom image). Select the PROPERTIES (left-middle image) button from the toolbar for additional options (right image). Double click on a shape to add text.

17 Click on this button to free draw shapes (using the mouse) on the active notebook page. The computer will auto-design the draw shapes. Select the PROPERTIES (left-bottom image) button from the toolbar for additional options (right image).

18 Click on this button to use the magic pen to perform “magical events” on the active notebook page. Write notes that will disappear in ten seconds. Use the mouse to draw a square around an area to magnify the area. Use the mouse to draw a circle around an area to spotlight the area. Click on the red X to close or end this feature. See Properties.

19 Click on this button to fill (color in) a shape on the active notebook page. Select the PROPERTIES (left-bottom image) button from the toolbar for additional options (right image).

20 Click on this button to insert text or words on the active notebook page. Use the mouse to draw a textbox before adding words. Click on the textbox to edit it. Remember to use the SELECT TOOL button from the toolbar to move a textbox.

21 Click on this button to change an object’s line style, fill effects, and animation options.

22 Click on this button to change the location of the toolbar. The toolbar may be position at the top of the screen, and it may also be positioned at the bottom of the screen..

23 Right click on an object to obtain the pop-up menu to the left. Clone: single duplication of the object Locking: the object cannot be moved or selected Infinite Cloner: use the mouse to pull endless copies of an object

24 Right click on an empty section of the active notebook page to obtain the pop-up menu to the left.
