 A national organization that leads into National Honor Society in high school.  It is a leadership and service club that focuses on helping others and promoting learning.

 You must to maintain a 3.5 Grade Point Average each Quarter.  You are required to attend monthly meetings.  You need to complete 1 service hour each month and a group service project.  If you are unable to attend a meeting, it is your responsibility to notify the advisor in writing.

LEADERSHIP CHARACTER SCHOLARSHIP SERVICE

 No problem.  You do have to commit time and effort, but we’ve made membership as flexible as possible.  Your attendance at meeting counts toward your service time.  And…you can complete community service project (s) on your own.  AND…you can participate in our yearly group service project.  Remember service hours are completed outside of the school day.

 Volunteer in the community  Volunteer at school (monthly clean up, work on projects before/afterschool with teachers, tutoring, etc)  A fundraiser to benefit a local cause, to be determined by the chapter. (RFL)

 Will be held the fourth Tuesday of every month, beginning in October from 8:30AM-9:10, in the library.  Officers will have an additional meeting on the second Tuesday of every month, in room 239 from 8:15AM-9:10AM.

 Be on time and participate!  Bring your community service hour log to file and record  Your attendance at the meeting will be recorded.  Bring a copy of your 9 weeks report card each quarter to file in your folder.  If you are unable to attend, please Mrs. Sloan regarding the reason.
