Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) is a uniformed organisation under the purview of the Ministry of Home Affairs. Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) In 2008, CNB mounted 41 major operations against drug traffickers and abusers, resulting in the breakup of 25 syndicated drug trafficking activities. Vigorous enforcement have kept the local drug situation stable and under control, and have prevented any further increase in the number of drug abusers arrested.

Central Narcotics Bureau Singapore observes the ‘International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking’ on 26 June every year. This year, the theme is ‘Drug Control’. It aims to raise awareness of the major problem that illicit drugs represent to society and at the same time, inspire people and mobilise support for drug control.
