September-October One-on-one meeting with counselor/administrator regarding: –Credits –Transcripts, profile sheets, graduation requirements –Schedule –Post-graduation plans/goals –Your plan of action to accomplish goals If you need a schedule change because you are missing a class you need for graduation OR you are currently in a class you have already taken- see me immediately. To register for the ACT or send your score to a college you did not list when you took the exam, you need to create an account on actstudent.org If you do not have the information you need (your id number, username, password) to create your account, you can call ACT: AM-8PM The cost to take the ACT is $39.50 (no writing) & $56.50 (with writing) If you are on free/reduced lunch you are able to receive up to 2 ACT waivers for the exam. Waivers available in Guidance Office. The cost to send your score is $12.00/test date per report ACT Registration & Sending Scores

Each college you apply to will need a copy of your high school transcript The electronic service we use to send transcripts is Parchment. You can create your account at parchment.com Instruction sheets are available in my office This is the fastest, most efficient way to send transcripts. However, if a school requests that one be mailed, ed, or faxed just see me and we will take care of it. Transcripts

Be mindful of dates and deadlines for college academic scholarships- many are December 1 Community scholarships will be posted as they are received in the guidance office as well as on the website. The scholarship drawer is to the left of Mrs. Coopers desk- all hard copies are kept there Scholarships
