General Requirements ● Attend General Meetings ● Attend E-board Meetings ● Attend Summer Planning Meetings ● Attend the majority of outside events
President ● Responsible and accountable for the overall success of the organization ● Leads all meetings and discussions ● Delegates work to E-board members
Vice President ● Assists the President in his/her duties ● Fulfills the duties of President if he/she is absent.
Secretary ● Record the minutes for meetings. ● Keeps up-to-date records of the current directory of MAPS Members and attendance. ● Manage communications with MAPS members via MAPS account.
Treasurer ● Responsible for the financial state of the organization. ● Collects chapter dues. ● Prepares monthly financial reports. ● Plans fundraising events throughout the year
Liaison Officer ● Must be able to effectively and professionally communicate with outside organizations to coordinate MAPS related activities. (i.e. CHM/COM, Mid-Michigan Medical Society, and others)
Community Service Chair ● Coordinate MAPS sponsored community service projects and events. ● Serve as a resource for providing information about community service opportunities.
Event Coordinator ● Coordinate MAPS sponsored events (i.e. social events, health fair, banquets). ● Serve as a liaison with guest speakers and event related contacts.
Webmaster ● Responsible for managing the following: o MAPS Website o Social media (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) ● Must be familiar working with computer and internet related functions
