Performance Acknowledgements  A student may earn a performance acknowledgement for outstanding performance:  In a dual credit course  In bilingualism and biliteracy  On an AP test or IB exam  On the PSAT, the ACT/PLAN, the SAT, or the ACT, or  Earning a nationally or internationally recognized business or industry certification or license 8

Distinguished Level of Achievement A student may earn a distinguished level of achievement by successfully completing:  Four credits in mathematics, which must include Algebra II  Four credits in Science  The remaining curriculum requirements, and  The curriculum requirements for at least one endorsement. 10

Take home the packet & review thoroughly with a parent Check for prerequisites, fees, forms, etc. Complete the Course Request List sheet & 4-year- plan (review and change as needed)—sign & have a parent sign Bring the Course Request List and 4-year-plan sheets with you when you meet with your counselor.

Meetings with Counselors 9 th grade students will begin meeting with their counselors to complete course selection January through their W. Geog class. 10 th grade students will begin meeting with their counselors to complete course selection January through their W. History class. If you are absent on the day your counselor meets with your class, your counselor will call for you on a make-up day.
