Poetry Station #7 Use your senses! Task—In this station you will use the senses "smell, taste, or touch" to stimulate ideas for sensory poetry. 1.Select a bag from the container and using only that sense, describe what it is you feel, smell, or taste. The focus of this activity is not on trying to guess exactly what is in the bag, but on the details of description, along with images you associate with those details. 2.Do this for each bag. 3.Write one cinquain using the details from 3 of the 6 bags. Incorporate 1 smell, 1 feel and 1 taste bag into your poem. Don’t forget a title. ?
