Teacher Resources Equipment and resources needed: Computer Internet access Construction paper, scissors, glue, markers and fasteners for booklet Worksheets Classroom management: Teacher and aid will continually monitor and assist with online activities and usage.

Teacher Resources Educational reason for using WebQuest: This is an inquiry based activity that includes the thinking skills of comparing; identifying and articulation of similarities and differences between things, classifying, and grouping things into definable categories on the basis of their attributes. Teacher Page Modifications: To address the needs of a child whose first language is NOT English, the words on the WebQuest could be translated into their language and added. A Portable Writing Device could be provided for a child who is unable to grasp a writing instrument or reach a regular keyboard.

Student Page Kids' Rules for Online Safety I will not give out personal information such as my address, telephone number, parents’ work address/telephone number, or the name and location of my school without my parents’ permission. I will never send a person my picture or anything else without first checking with my parents. I will help my parents understand how to have fun and learn things online and teach them things about the Internet, computers and other technology. I will tell my teacher right away if I come across any information that makes me feel uncomfortable.
