Use the form below to evaluate each other. Make sure that you are fair and honest on this evaluation form. Do you feel that all of your Scientific Team Members worked well together on this WebQuest? ______________ If YES, please explain your reason: If NO, please explain your reason: Do you feel that all of your Scientific Team Members worked equally as hard on this WebQuest? ____________ Additional Comments or Concerns:

7 Group Member Evaluation
In order for me to assess your tasks I will be using a rubric. There is a copy of the rubric that I will be using. Make sure you become aware of all the components that I will be looking for. Incomplete 0 points Needs Improvement 1 point Satisfactory 2 points Good 3 points Excellent 4 points Research 20% of final grade *You chose not to participate. Your planning sheet shows little to no evidence of planning for this WebQuest. Your planning sheet shows minimal evidence of planning for this WebQuest. Your planning sheet shows evidence of research done for this WebQuest. Your planning sheet shows evidence of research done for this WebQuest and extra information added. Presentation 50% of final grade Your Presentation includes: *name of animal *1 animal facts *no reason for the animal’s endangered status *no mention of how the animal can be helped and possibly removed from the list *2 interesting animal facts *the reason for the *no mention of how the animal can be helped and possibly removed from the list *3 interesting animal facts *how the animal can be helped and possibly removed *everything listed in the “Good” category *another level of research; for example, “why keeping this animal alive is beneficial” Art Element 20% or final grade Your Art Element includes: *no mention of the animal name of the animal your group is researching *an inaccurate representation of the animal your group is researching the animal’s habitat *the name of the *an attempt at a *an accurate *a accurate example, something included in your art that would depict why the animal is endangered or what can be done to help Group Member Evaluation 10% of final grade Group members thought you did not contribute enough to the WebQuest requirements. Group members thought you could have done more to contribute to the WebQuest. Group members thought you worked well with the group and contributed equally to the WebQuest. Group members thought you went above and beyond what was necessary for equal participation in the WebQuest.

8 Conclusion Class 3-104, Congratulations on the completion of your WebQuest! You and your partner have made an amazing scientific investigation team! You have worked hard to identify and report on endangered species that you were interested in! You were able to tell us why your animal is on the endangered species list and brainstorm some ways in which we can help remove the animal. By completing this Web Quest, you should have a better understanding of the importance of keeping animals safe and protected.
