 Along with the features already discussed in our shopping basket we have:  We can allow the customer to enter a voucher code  We can allow the customer to select their preferred shipping method  Review cost based on shipping and voucher code  By voucher code  Customer can immediately view the total cost  This makes everything more open and transparent to the customer  Saving them from waiting until near the end of the  process

 By Shipping method in basket  Different shipping methods often change the end cost of an order  The customer knows the price they will be paying, at the first stage of the process

 Payment method usually have three types  An offline payment  An off-site online payment  An on-site online payment  An offline payment  Payment on delivery or telephone hotline  An off-site online payment  Standard PayPal payment where redirect to paypal site  An on-site online payment  PayPal payment pro where payment is made on the site using Paypal APIs

 Start with selected products in basket  Items in basket should be saved and associated with a customer  Order confirmation means  Customer review the products in basket  Confirm it after review basket from different aspects  After confirmation, basket contents are converted into an order

 After confirmation order detail, the following payment detail should be there:  For offline payment detail  A postal address, a reference number, a name to make checks payable to, and instructions  For offsite online payment detail  A link or a button to the off-site payment gateway, such as PayPal  For onsite online payment detail  Contain relevant text boxes for the customer to enter their card details  The page must be securely encrypted

 After payment detail, payment is made  Either be the customer posting a check  Entering their card details  Or paying through a service such as PayPal

 Once payment has been made, the order should be marked as "pending dispatch”  Can be done automatically when card details are verified  When an off-site gateway returns a successful notification  manually when the administrator receives a check  Automatically the customer to confirm  The payment was successful and the order is being fulfilled  Automatically to admin or warehouse to  Allowing them to fulfill the order
