Reasons for Reduced Tobacco Use Among Teens Antismoking campaigns: tobacco companies are now required to fund ads that discourage young people from smoking Financial cost: tobacco is expensive Societal pressures: smoking limited in public places because of secondhand smoke Family influence: parents strongly disapprove of teens smoking
