SERIALS:  Receiving the journals through VTLS and accessioning - ongoing  Sending Reminders - once in a month - by the 5 th of every month to 2 Vendors.  Journal Ordering  Maintenance and updation of journal files  E – Journals Site checking  Identify good resources from journals and magazines for various LRC products.  Content Contribution to the CAS Site Responsibilities

TECHNICAL PROCESSING:  Accessioning : 10% of the books received every month  Cataloguing : 20 % of the books received every month  Classification : 10% of the books received every month CIRCULATION:  Attending circulation counter 24 hrs. per week  Attending to reference queries (min.5) COMPUTER & MEDIA ROOM MAINTENANCE:  Checking the performance and connectivity of computers  Checking the functionality of equipments in media room Responsibilities contd.

COLLECTION DEVEOPMENT:  Do the job as per the allocation of the Collection Development team  Sending Book Reviews from 25 journals to Acquisition by each quarter INVOICE AND BILLS CLEARANCE:  Invoice checking  Invoice processing  Check clearance and covering letter preparation Responsibilities contd.
