Look back in the list for full publication details which have already been given. et al is a Latin abbreviation meaning and others and is used when there are more than two authors or editors

8 Updated: September 2007 by TGM Common Problems 1.I can’t find the book on the Library catalogue Check spelling, try other searches, Ask at the Enquiries Desk 2.My reading list indicates the location number but the book is not there… Check: Due Date (Reserve if required), other collections, location number etc. Ask at the Enquiries Desk 3.The library catalogue says that the book is on the shelf, but I can’t find it…  Check: collection, location number, Re-shelving shelves  Ask at the Enquiries Desk 4.I can’t find a journal on the library catalogue, or in the library  Check spelling, try journal title search, check other collections and Digital Library (Find e-journal search)  Ask at the Enquiries Desk
