8 th grade Transition to High School

Important dates January 12 th – Doerre Counselors introduce 4 year plans and review endorsements through Math class. January 12 th – KHS 8 th grade Student /Parent meeting. 6:00PM Club/Career Meet and Greet on Main Street 7:00PM in the KHS auditorium January 14 th – IB info meeting during PRIDE time (sign up today!!) January 19th –KOHS 8 th grade student field trip January 19 th - KOHS Student/Parent meeting 6:30 – 8PM in the KOHS auditorium January 19 th – KHS Counselor presentation on course selections/graduation requirements January 20 th –Course Selections through ELA class January 27 th – Course Selection sheets and 4 year plans due to ELA teachers Jan. 29- Feb. 3–Students enter course selections/4 yr plans online with counselors in computer labs. (Students must have returned course selection form with parent signature to participate.) Feb 2 – IB Program parent information meeting 6:30PM-8PM in the KOHS Multipurpose Rm in 9 th grade wing June 9 th - ***Last day to make schedule changes for 9 th grade****
