Encompassing entire aspect of Project Development the core activities of EIF is enumerated as following: Project Research:- Using Powerful System-MAP & PRIDE-Techniques EIF identifies demand driven impacting projects for sustainable area and enterprise development. EIF has in-house advance research & training arm PDRI to support EIF in Project, Policy & Technology Research using cutting edge statistical/economic tools, operational research and computational intelligence. Project Implementation:- EIF coordinates the funding and management of the Project from Concept to Commissioning. EIF has in-house Project Management expertise including quality control, development of institutional mechanism and entrepreneurship training for sustainable asset management. He completed his thesis project on “Gandhian Economics in Physical Developments of Institutions” and conceived as principal developer of the PRIDE- Technique for Area Development. Mr. Singh is Rajiv Gandhi Excellence Awarded in 1996 for his contribution in low cost housing and development research. Brief Profile of Mr. Singh Mr. S. L. Singh is Founder Chairman and Chief Planner & Designer of Planner India (P) Ltd, a reputed infrastructure development and project management consultancy organization in India. Achievements Early Life & Education Honors & Award He inducted more than 20 research papers and articles published on the development planning and management. He completed his thesis project on “Gandhian Economics in Physical Developments of Institution”. He also initiated a research institute “PDRI (Planner Development & Research Institute)” and conceived as principal developer of the PRIDE- Technique & System- MAP for Area & Enterprise Development. His researches depicted feasibility, development and sustainability of various projects in varying socio-economic conditions. Currently, his credit involved in development of most modern infrastructure for Sukhoi Aircafts. Moreover, 50% of 12th five year plan for power equipment manufacturing capacity development has been executed by PlPL under his guidance with development of captive power plants infrastructure across India. Mr. S. L. Singh is the Master Planner to Purvanchal University, Jaunpur and Central University of Tibetan Studies, Sarnath. He is also member of UP Ground Water Commissions. He has served as prime consultant in various PSUs and government undertakings. He also served as the President of Varanasi Architects Association and Vice President of U.P. Architects Association in 2003. Currently, he is serving as the President of the Varanasi Architects Association. Mr. Singh has also attachment with society of Varanasi and thus initiated in various infrastructural developments in Varanasi city. Expansion of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Complex, Cultural Complex, Varanasi Ring Road etc. are few examples of his commitment. Early Life & Education Mr. Singh was born in Ghazipur (U.P.) in a Rajput descendent family. He was studious in childhood and completed his schooling from different places in Uttar Pradesh due to transferrable job of his father at the time. He took admission in Bachelor of Science in graduation from University of Allahabad. But, he later attended Visvesvaraya Regional College of Engineering, Nagpur (Maharashtra) and graduated in Bachelors of Architecture. Mr. Singh has also interest in martial art. Later he settled in Varanasi. Honors & Award He is awarded with “Rajiv Gandhi Excellence Award” in 1996 for his outstanding contribution in low cost housing, infrastructure & development research field by Shri K. C. Pant, Then Vice Chairman, Planning Commission of India. In addition to that, Mr. Singh is also chairman of Eastern Infrastructure Fund, which is first non-profit, professionally managed, research & development organization in eastern part of India engaged in the field of sustainable area & enterprise development for social purposes by raising funds. The organization also involved in CSR consultancy services for society. He is also associated with the variety of social and civic organizations, including the Ganga Seva Nidhi, Dashashwamedh Ghat (Trust & Society), world known for its divine service towards River Ganga where he is among founder trustee.
