Scope of Work Under Solar Tender 2 The tender is for design, supply, installation, commissioning, warranties, spares, training of end users and technicians for SHS and public facilities, and provision of after sales service for public systems: - Provision of SHS for eligible private households identified by DRD, to minimum specification, with components trackable using barcode system. - Provision of Solar PV system installations for public facilities, including health, education, religious institutions, government offices, and streetlights to specification, with components trackable using barcode system.

Scope of Work Under Solar Tender (continued) 3 - Site Visits. The Supplier shall t sites with the Purchaser and shall produce an Inception Report based on the visits. -Samples for approval: the Supplier is required to provide samples for approval prior to the Pilot Installations and bulk manufacturing or shipping. -Pilot installations: At least one of each public PV system types and ten SHS and in a project area acceptable to the Purchaser shall be installed in one village, then, commissioned and accepted by Purchaser prior to proceeding with the other installation -Installation of the remainder of public facilities and SHS should be completed within the time frames -Training of staff of the public facilities, government technicians and users as per specification shall be conducted by the Supplier. -Warranties on quality of work is provided by the Supplier during twelve (12) month Defects Period, and Component Warranty Period after acceptance of each system. -A Maintenance Period of one year for public facility systems, commencing after Acceptance of the Final installation in the Lot, is provided by the Supplier. - Maintenance and after sales services may be offered to private customers on a commercial basis. - Spares management for public systems shall be conducted by the Supplier. At end of the Contract Period obligations the Supplier shall hand-over the spares in good working order to the Purchaser.

Other Documentation to be Provided by Supplier Equipment documentation The Supplier is required to supply certain documention with the equipment, for integration into the MIS, including: Barcode label for each major component (panel, battery, controller, inverter). Softcopy database for each major component supplied including the following fields: Unique barcode, manufacturer name, model number, serial number, supplier name, date of purchase Barcoded label on each shipping package referencing the package content (i.e. the unique bardoce of the equipment inside) Claims documentation for systems installed Periodic claims shall be submitted by the supplier. The claims documentation shall comprise of the following documents linked to the MIS: Practical completion sheet for each site Certificate of Electrical Compliance (for each site where relevant) Claims database in softcopy, including: At a minimum the following fields are required: dated Practical Completion / Acceptance Receipt of user; picture of family, system, ID name of purchaser, ID number, township, district, village, location for verification purposes (i.e. GPS co-ordinate). System number and name (i.e. 3.SHS-L, 4.E-Basic, 11.H-RHC) Module type, rating, qty, serial numbers, barcode serial numbers Battery type and capacity, qty, barcode numbers Charge controller type, capacity, barcode serial number Inverter type, capacity, barcode serial number Number of lamps, lamp type and capacity
