What is an ATA? Apprentice Training Agency (ATA) based on the Group Training Model running successfully in Australia for 30 years ATAs must be quality accredited by the National Apprenticeship Service (NAS) / Skills Funding Agency (SFA) & Confederation of Apprenticeship Training Agencies (COATA) An ATA offers an innovative way of employing an apprentice providing recruitment and HR support for both the employer and the apprentice

Innovative Apprentice Employment New to apprenticeships Headcount restrictions but ageing workforce No employment risk Full recruitment service provided Mentoring and HR support Return and Rotation = Train and develop the skills the business needs The ATA employs the apprentice

Only 12% of businesses employ an apprentice. Why? Too much red tape Don’t know enough about recruiting a young person Don’t know enough about training/mentoring an apprentice It didn’t work out before!
