1 OKTOBER 2015  European Commission Programme  32 participating European countries  Grant for student exchange and internships  Currently grants of Euro per month for internships  You can receive an Erasmus grant for studies and/or internships:  12 months during your BA  12 months during your MA  12 months during your PhD THE ERASMUS PROGRAMME

1 OKTOBER 2015 WHERE CAN I GO  Your stay must take place within the 32 participating countries (excl. Denmark, the Faroe Islands and Greenland)  Your stay may take place in: Private or public companies NGOs National diplomatic representations (embassy and consulate) Training centres Research centres  Your stay must NOT take place in: European Union institutions Organisations managing EU programmes

1 OKTOBER 2015 WHEN CAN I GO  Check the academic regulations for your study  Talk to your student counsellor  Start planning well ahead

1 OKTOBER 2015 REQUIREMENTS:  The duration of your stay must be from 2-12 months  You need prior approval from your board of studies (as a rule minimum 20 ECTS per semester)  You need to fill in a Learning Agreement for Traineeships with info on the company, your duties, number of ECTS received and signed by all parties: You The company Your academic supervisor/board of studies at AU  You MUST have an liability, accident and health insurance (AU cannot cover you)  Remember to contact the SU office at AU if you receive SU before you go abroad

1 OKTOBER 2015 DEADLINES  The Erasmus year: 1st June ‘15 – 30th September ‘16  Your stay must not exceed these dates  2 annual application deadlines 15th November 15th May  Apply before you leave

1 OKTOBER 2015 CHECK LIST: HOW TO DO…  Find and organize your placement  Check out the application deadlines  Fill in the application form AND the Learning Agreement forTraineeships (signed by all parties)  Apply for the Erasmus internship grant before you start your internship  After the deadline you will receive a confirmation from the International Centre.
