General Information A placement is a period of time that a student can spend in a company (profit/non-profit), university or academic center which are related to their area of studies at a participating European country or participating country. Placements assist students to adapt to the requirements of the labor market, to acquire specific skills and to improve their work experience. The duration of a placement must be minimum of 2 months (60 days) or 3 months. It is best for the student to plan the placement during the summer.

General Information Students are responsible themselves for researching and finding an appropriate internship position in relevant institutions. Erasmus+ placement program must be completed at latest by September 30th, 2015. Students must determine their work periods according to this regulation.

Eligibility Criteria Must be a full time registered student (students who are about to graduate, they can apply while they are still student and participate in the internship program in 12 months following to their graduation) Students who have failed courses from previous years can apply for Erasmus Placement Successful completion of the first year of the degree program before the Erasmus Placement mobility Minimum CGPA: 2.50 / 4.00

How to Apply? You need to submit; An Application Form; A Letter of Acceptance by the receiving organization to the International Cooperation Office. (an e-mail from the receiving institution will be enough for application for the program between the given dates.)

Mobility Grants Students will receive mobility grants according to the university budget allocated by the Turkish National Agency*. The mobility grants do not cover all the expenses of study abroad periods. Mobility grants only aim to support students during their study abroad periods. Students can choose not to receive their mobility grants.

No Placement Below The following institutions are not eligible for Erasmus+ Student Mobility for Placement: EU institutions and agencies; Institutions/ organizations carrying out EU funded programs; Turkish diplomatic missions (such as embassies and consulates) abroad.

Online Linguistic Support -OLS The Online Linguistic Support will be gradually implemented in the course of the Program for all mobility activities lasting two months and longer. Such online support is made available by the European Commission to selected students, with a view to assess their competence in the language they will use to study or carry out their traineeships abroad. This tool will also offer them, where necessary, the possibility to improve the knowledge of the language before and/or during the mobility period.
