10 If you already received an Erasmus Mundus scholarship for the same type of mobility (BA, MA, PhD, postdoc)  This is not applicable for Staff! If you have resided, studied or worked for more than a total of 12 months over the last five years in any of the eligible European countries

16 1.Go to the project (JoinEU-SEE; Basileus, Eraweb, etc) website and… 2.Inform yourself about:  Eligibility criteria ( can I apply for a master degree???; do I have the right nationality?; do I have sufficient language knowledge???)  Academic offer of the university/ies of your choice ( What can I study at each European University? ) 3.Collect all required documents to apply (learning agreement, admission letter, certificates, transcripts, recommendation letters….) 4.Apply online! Ready to apply? Go!!!

Your application will be: 1. checked ( is it eligible? ); 2. ranked ( how good is it?) and… 3. selected or not selected  selected grantees will be informed by mid May 2014  Eligible but non selected grantees will pass to the reserve list In disagreement with the evaluation and/or ranking of your application? You will have the right to appeal against this decision!

30 I am selected for an Erasmus Mundus grant… What happens next? Before leaving :  Host university: Visa, housing, language courses, welcome guides, etc  The project will provide you with: Insurance Travel (plane) After returning :  Exchange mobility > Recognition of your study period abroad (Learning Agreement + transcript of records!)  Degree seeking students > European Degree
