HANDBOOK HIGHLIGHTS Dress Code Attendance Policies Student Passes Student Sign-Out Hallway Behavior Gum Chewing Cheating/Plagiarism

SPECIAL TEAM EVENTS Team Days Field Trips What we do depends on YOU!!

7 th Grade ALUMNI TIPS DON’T CHEW GUM- you will get caught and they will catch you- especially Ms. Prendergast! Make friends and get a good reputation. Participate in class because you get points each marking period! Ask questions if you need help! Study more than you normally do, because you’ll need it! This ISN’T sixth grade anymore!!

7 th Grade ALUMNI TIPS Remember to follow directions on all tests and projects! Be organized because there are always notebook checks! The harder you try, the more respect you get from the teachers. Don’t get on the teachers’ bad sides! Always have your pass. Be nice to substitutes.

7 th Grade ALUMNI TIPS Shoving papers into your binder is a REALLY BAD idea. Keep all of your old papers- you will have finals! In 6 th grade you might not have studied, but this year you have too! DO ALL OF YOUR WORK... YOU’LL BE FINE! Don’t eat candy without asking. Do not plagiarize- you will get a 0! Keep a positive attitude!

7 th Grade ALUMNI TIPS Be nice to your teachers and pay them respect. Keep or find a sense of humor- you’ll need it! Make friends you can depend on. Proofread your work before you hand it in. Never wait until the last minute; it’s very stressful that way. With these teachers backing you up, you’ll never have to worry.

WARNING !!!! Summer reading books should be nearly finished or finished at this time. All AR tests need to be done by September 16th!!!!!
