NGT  The nominal group technique (NGT) is a group process involving problem identification, solution generation, and decision making  In the basic method, the numbers each solution receives are totaled, and the solution with the highest (i.e. most favored) total ranking is selected as the final decision. There are variations on how this technique is used. For example, it can identify strengths versus areas in need of development, rather than be used as a decision-making voting alternative. Downtown Internet Café’ Key Elements Review – Cont’d  Analysis is focused on “Sales data” – for 1 st memo or product in order to support an imminent decision.  Charts used in Word Documents should have a brief narrative explanation to introduce the object. What is it??  This is commonly used in Word with Figures such as embedded charts, graphs or table used. Does not have to be long but usually it is place before the item. Subsequence references to the same item do not need another introductory statement.  All Professional letters or Memos used in business setting should have a “Closing or summary statement”. “Please feel free to contact me should you have any questions regarding the data.” This opens the opportunity for meaningful dialog and discussion. The 1qtr “Sales memo/letter” The letter - Is the key product and 2 nd letter is secondary.
