Waveney Welcome to Waveney... North East corner of Suffolk, bordering Norfolk and the North sea Comprises: Lowestoft – a large urban area with significant multiple deprivation issues, four market towns and large rural areas. Low skills, High unemployment, Low aspirations

Partnership Working Prior to merging into Community Action Suffolk in April 2013, The Community Forum was the CVS covering the Waveney area. 3 examples of partnership working that we have become involved in that supports adult learners: Waveney Learning Community Leap at The Kirkley Centre Talent Match

Waveney Learning Community Informal network of adult learning providers delivering learning in Waveney Information sharing Discussing new projects Identifying gaps Joint marketing – local training brochure Joint events – Waveney adult learner awards
