Note taking is an essential tool for helping learn the material you will cover in any content area. In Science, you will be required to take notes using the Cornell Note-Taking System. The system requires a specific format which will enable you to better understand, review content delivered in class and help you study for quizzes & tests.

There are many benefits from this type of note-taking. Taking notes keeps you alert and focused during class. Notes enable you to be an active contributor to your understanding & group. Notes help you become more actively involved in your own learning.
