1. One-look Networking Survivability Improvement

One-look Networking Survivability Improvement 1-0.Overview When Isolated Mode is activated, incoming calls to other unit can be routed via public network. For realizing this, the following 2 enhancements are provided. Quick dial improvement (for internal calls) Forced Break mode at Isolated Mode (for External calls)

One-look Networking Survivability Improvement 1-1. Quick dial improvement (for internal calls) When the slave unit becomes Isolated Mode, the system mode will be changed to Break Mode. When making a call to extension in other site, this call will be re-routed via public network by quick dial setting. Extn.101

One-look Networking Survivability Improvement 1-2. Forced Break mode at Isolated Mode (for External calls) When the slave unit becomes Isolated Mode, the system mode will be changed to Break Mode. When receiving a incoming external call, this call will be re-routed via public network by DDI Table setting. Used in Day mode Used in Break mode ICD-G 602 ICD-G 601 member : Extn.101 Extn.201 ICD-G 602 member : V-PS 301 (FWD All to DDI) Extn.201 Note) KX-NSE1xx (AK for Mobile Extension) is required to use this feature.

Small Call Center Feature Improvement 2-1. ACD Report Improvement Unanswered ICD group call can be recorded on Call Report. This is only available for UCD and Hunting mode. Unanswered calls can be disabled on the call report in filtering setting of call report. (Default : Disable)

4. Speed Dialing Improvement

Speed Dialing Improvement 4-1. Display Speed Dialing Name 1. When operating outgoing call by System Speed Dialing or Personal Speed Dialing, the speed dialing name which is assigned can be shown with dial number on the LCD of DPT or IP-PT. 2. Also the speed dialing name can be displayed at following 2 cases. 1) Redial after outgoing call by speed dialing 2) Outgoing call by using Outgoing Call Log Note: Outgoing Call Log is also improved. The content of the log contain dials and speed dialing name. Note) This feature is supported only by NT543/NT546/NT553/NT556/NT560.

Speed Dialing Improvement 4-2. Searching Digits Maximum number of dial digits for searching speed dialing data is expanded to 6 digits from 2 digits on DPT and IP-PT. Ver4.1 or before V4.2 or later Max. # of digits for searching 2 digits 6 digits

5. Stronger Security

Router (Port Fwd to PBX) Stronger Security 5-0. Overview - Fraud Call Risk - Call from Internet using SIP remote extension by SIP password. - Call from PSTN using DISA by DISA password or using Fwd etc. - Program from Internet using Web-MC password and call by above. International etc Hacker PSTN This is not trend. Skype is free of charge. Internet Global IP IP Phone Office Router (Port Fwd to PBX) LAN

Stronger Security 5-1. INSTALLER : 1234 KX-NS version 4.2 restricts 1234 at easy setup so that dealer has to change password from 1234 forcedly. Basically do not use Port Fwd for Web-MC usually. It was notice only.

Stronger Security 5-2. MRG Port : 5060 KX-NS version 4.2 restricts 50xx such as 5060 and x50xx such as 15060. These are famous now for hacker. Default : 15060 is also removed. And long SIP password and TRS level for remote SIP extension are very important.

How to Program?

One-look Networking Survivability Improvement Forced Break mode in Isolated Mode Select enable on “Switch Time Service to "Break" In Isolated Mode”.

One-look Networking Survivability Improvement 1-1. Quick dial improvement (for internal calls) Check “Use Quick Dial for CO rerouting during "Break" Mode”. Enter “Quick Dial number” and “Phone number”

One-look Networking Survivability Improvement 1-2. Forced Break mode at Isolated Mode (for External calls) Enter ICDG Number “602” in “DDI/DID Destination-Break”

Small Call Center Feature Improvement 2-1. ACD Report Improvement “PBX Configuration” => “3.Group” => “5.Incoming Call Distribution Group” => “3. Miscellaneous” => “ICD Group Unanswered Call Log”

3-1. TGP600 Installation (PBX side) New SIP terminals 3-1. TGP600 Installation (PBX side) Install V-SIP Extension card, then enter Password. IP-PT (incl. P-SIP) AK is required.

Red LED flash slowly. Press and hold the “OK” button for few seconds to start registration. Then it finish within 1 minute. Enter IP address for PBX, extension number, and password.

3-1. TGP600 setting for Multi Number New SIP terminals 3-1. TGP600 setting for Multi Number Multi Number setting (One to N Mode) After set “Yes” on “Enable Multi Number”, all PS work as same extension number. (Default : No) Select PS which receive a call as same extension number.

New SIP Terminals 3-1. KX-TGP600 Simultaneous voice calls Cascade connection (Up to 3 units) Caller B Base Unit (TGP600) Repeater (A406) Caller C Wideband : up to 2ch (A406) Caller A In this case, the caller C can NOT make a call, because the caller A and B occupy all voice call channels.

KX-TGP600 Simultaneous voice calls Wideband : up to 4ch (TGP600) Base Unit (TGP600) Repeater (A406) Repeater (A406) Multiple connection (Up to 6 units) In this case, the first 4 callers can make calls, because TGP600 has only 4 voice call channels. However, TGP600 can be connected up to 6 units (A406).
