5 New IPCS KX-NS0154 General Site planning condition is almost same as Legacy CS, so NS0154 can be Plug and Play CS with LAN Synchronization.. No synchronization tree concept for LAN synchronization. Direct synchronization with master CS via LAN. Mixed installation with NCP0158 or Legacy CS and NS0154 must be done by AIR synchronization. NS0154 supports up to 4 channels talk path by default. It can possible to expand the channel to 8 by installing activation key. capacity Items Number Maximum number of IP-CS per Unit 64 Maximum number of IP-CS on One-look-networking (Total number) 128 Maximum number of IP-CS as member of a LAN synchronization group LAN Sync Group No 16

6 New IPCS KX-NS0154 1-1. LAN Synchronization
LAN sync is done by combination of Multicast from master and Unicast reply from slave. 1 Master in 1 LAN sync group. 1 LAN sync group in same network segment No Handover between different LAN sync Group. Multicast Master Slave Unicast Master Slave Master Slave XXX XXX LAN sync Group1 LAN sync Group2

7 New IPCS KX-NS0154 1-1. LAN Synchronization OK OK NG
Master L2SW layer should be bellow 7 layers to keep good condition to minimize packet delay . Recommended to use Giga SW. Recommended to use SW tested by PSN. Refer other PPT describe detail about NS0154. SW 1 SW 2 SW 3 OK SW 4 Slave OK SW 7 SW 8 Slave NG Slave Use NS0154 at isolated network by using method like VLAN.

8 New IPCS KX-NS0154 1-2. Easy Installation
NS0154 has easy to install philosophy same like Legacy CS based on LAN synchronization. NS0154 can be registered to NS1000 automatically under DHCP environment by default. Each slave sync with master directly via LAN cable. Out of sync at single CS not affect other CS. Each CS can locate based on PS coverage. Each CS not necessary to overlap each other. Can be allocated same as Legacy CS

9 New IPCS KX-NS0154 1-3. Survey tool
LAN environment survey tool prepared to use as network assessment tool. Survey can be continued also during normal operation period. The tool can be accessed through Off-line maintenance console.

10 New IPCS KX-NS0154 1-4. Other Item Description NS0154 NCP0158 LLDP
LLDP can be enabled or disabled by local programming ( through off line Web-MC) Yes No Port punching for media relay gateway Send dummy packet to prevent rooter port closing for media relay gateway. Announce Mode for remote installation If ANNOUNCE mode is enabled, NS0154 can provide the PBX’s IP Address information to other terminals in the remote location in place of manually programming the PBX’s IP address at each terminal (support same feature NT5xx have) PS firmware update over the Air Firmware of TCA185/285/385 can be updated through NS0154 PS version display in Web-MC Version of TCA185/285/385 can be shown in Web-MC (PS firmware update is needed to use this feature) Redundancy NS0154 can change the connection to secondary PBX in case of primary PBX failure DECT Encryption Encryption between PS and IP-CS is available. *When current repeater (KX-A405), encryption cannot be used. (New repeater which supports Encryption is planned) Wide band audio KX-NS0154 supports wide band audio. As a condition about this feature, wideband audio for all CSs in the synchronization group is unavailable if Legacy CS or NCP0158 exist in each group. (Future Study)

11 2. Small Call Center

12 Small Call Center Feature Enhancement
2-1. Call Pickup Group Monitor While incoming a call onto members of the pickup group, it is possible to notify the call for other members by display of the extension number/name and sending short ring tone on the phones.
