DUKE UNIVERSITY TALENT IDENTIFICATION PROGRAM (TIP) Identifies academically talented students Sponsors challenging and motivating educational programs since 1980

ELIGIBILITY Be in the 4 th, 5 th, 6 th or 7 th grade Score at the 95 th percentile or higher in only one of the accepted subtests or total battery/composite of a grade-level standardized achievement test

CANDIDATES ARE IDENTIFIED Invited to take a College Entrance Test- EITHER - ACT OR SAT *****7 th grade Invited to take the ACT EXPLORE TEST ***** 4 th -6 th grade

STUDENTS WILL RECEIVE ABOVE- LEVEL TESTING EXPERIENCE SPECIAL RECOGNITION EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITY GUIDE TIP PUBLICATIONS TIP NEWSLETTER TIP EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS
