Lions live in Africa and scratch trees. Lions usually live in groups of 15 or more animals called pride. Lions sleep in tall grass to hide from predators. Homes

Diet When food is hard to find Lions make dinner with small animal like elephants, rhinoceros, and antelope. After a kill the other lions in the family group join the feast.

Surviving My animal survives by pouncing on his prey. The Lion survives with the bones in his or her body. The paws on the bottom the legs help the Lion survive.

Interesting Facts about My animal… Lions get up to six and half feet long, the Lion uses it’s back feet to pounce and catch it’s prey. Lions use their teeth and claws when they fight each other. The male Lion does help the female rise the cubs. The king leads the “Pack” and is the leader.
