History, Gov’t/ Econ HOPE Online Course 1 credit of a Practical/Performing/Fine ART

Art Requirement Fine Arts: Art 2D, 3D, Ceramics, Drawing and Painting, Photography (online), Journalism?? Performing Arts: Theatre, Musical Theatre, Band, Chorus Practical Art: Introduction to Information, Digital Design, Horticulture 2, Culinary Arts 2. ROTC waiver (upon completion of 2 years)

How are credits earned? 2 semesters per year Semester 1 is made up of marking period 1 and marking period 2 Semester 2 is made up of marking periods 3 and 4. If average is over ? .5 credit is earned for each class.

How is GPA calculated? Each semester class has a letter grade. Each letter grade is assigned points Total of all assigned points divided by the number of classes taken. Bright Futures Scholarship (2016) 3 levels of the scholarship: Florida Academic, Florida Medallion, and Florida Gold Seal 3 components to each level: community service hours, GPA, test scores FAS: 3.5 GPA; SAT 1290, ACT29; 100 hours community service FMS: 3.0 GPA; SAT 1170, ACT 26; 75 hours community service Need 2 credits of the same foreign language for above Gold Seal: 3.0 overall GPA; 3.5 in vocational courses; significantly lower test scores; 30 hours community service Must have all completed by June 2018.
