2. Graduation Requirements
4 credits in English (English 1, 2, 3, 4)
4 credits in Math (Algebra 1, Geometry, 2 additional)
3 credits in Science (Biology, 2 additional)
3 credits in Social Studies (World Hist, US Hist, Gov/t/ Econ)
HOPE
1 Practical/Performing or Fine Art
1 online course (HOPE counts!)
Pass Algebra 1 FSA (or PSAT 430, or SAT 420 or ACT 16)
Pass ELA FSA ( or SAT with 480, ACT average of 18)
*Foreign Language not required for graduation (but needed for college and Bright Futures)
Standard Diploma Merit Diploma Scholar Diploma 18 Credit Accel

3. How do you calculate GPA?
Regular Scale Honors Scale AP Scale
A = A = A = 6.0
B = B = B = 5.0
C = C = C = 4.0
D = D = D = 3.0
F = F = F = 0
All Dual Enrollment courses through LSSC are on the AP Scale
ALL Students must have a 2.0 unweighted GPA to graduate with a diploma!

4. Bright Futures Requirements
Same as graduation requirements except:
*Must complete 2 years of Foreign Language
*GPA is averaged by academic courses
Required 3.0 weighted and above
*Test Score Requirements
*Volunteer Requirements

5. Dual Enrollment Lake Sumter State College Lake Technical College
Must pass PERT
PERT Reading 106
PERT Writing 103
PERT Math 114
Take Spring of 10th grade year
Must have 3.0 unweighted GPA or higher
Lake Technical College
Must take TABE test
Online Application

Must be 16 years old or older

6. Florida Virtual School
Complete by May 24, 2019
Recommended to complete before Spring Break
Stay on track with minimum percentage per week or get dropped 

8. Graduation Status
Letters regarding status have been mailed home if not on track.
Make an appointment with school counselor (Fornoles, DiDonna).
Meetings will be set for students at 2.0 or below with teachers and parents.
Schedule appointments for college/scholarship questions, or check grad status, Dual Enrollment.
Contact virtual teacher often to make sure you are on track.
