I agree 100% “children never outgrow a need for quality conversations with parents” (p.63) Teaching your children to communicate by sharing your thoughts and feelings will help your child build friendships. Knowing your child’s love language can help prevent misconceptions

Good to know! You can’t nail down your child’s primary love language before the age of 5. “the foundation of love laid in the early years affects a child’s ability to learn and largely determines when she is able to grasp new information” (p.23) The Language Ladder is a great tool for parents and teachers!
