Being able to put yourself in your child’s shoes helps you to understand your child’s behaviour.

We have done a role play on listening and then looked at tips for listening well.
We have discussed ways to spend time with our children so that we can build our relationship with them in a positive way.

Take opportunities to listen to your child at the end of the school day or at the end of the day when you put them to bed.
Try to create time this week with each of your children. Maybe ask them what they would like to do.
