ENGINEERING AMBASSADORS: WHO WE ARE  Official student representatives of the College of Engineering at the University of Florida  Diverse group of the best students in engineering at UF  Service based organization aimed at helping the Deans, the College of Engineering, and Gainesville Community  Leaders in student organizations around campus

ENGINEERING AMBASSADORS: WHAT WE DO  Provide tours of the college  College of Engineering Special Events  Community centered service and outreach events  Strive to build and maintain UF’s reputation as one of the best engineering institutions in the country

THE AMBASSADORS: INTANGIBLES  Build relationships with the Deans, Faculty, Staff, and other student leaders  Form friendships with other Ambassadors and student leaders  Learn how to effectively lead a group of people  Build pride in Engineering and UF!

APPLYING FOR MEMBERSHIP: THINGS TO CONSIDER Candidacy Requirements  Full-time engineering student w/ graduation date of December 2015 or later  Minimum 3.0 GPA  Active involvement with the College or your department What We’re Looking For  Passion for service to the College  Energetic and personable  Responsible and capable  Leadership experience/evidence of leadership potential

APPLYING FOR MEMBERSHIP: THE APPLICATION PACKET Cover Page General Information Page Short Answer Responses Resume  Significant campus/community involvement, honors and awards, work experience, and conferences/retreats attended Letter of Recommendation: One min., Two max.  Freshmen: High School Faculty  2 nd Year or older:UF Faculty/Staff, TAs, Internship/Co- Op Professional Staff Supervisor

APPLYING FOR MEMBERSHIP: THE APPLICATION PROCESS Applications can be found at:  Application Process Timeline:  November 24th: Applications released  January 22nd, 6 - 8:30PM: Formal Meet and Greet  Business Professional Attire  January 30th: Applications due by 11:59PM by ,  Hard copies of Letters of Rec will be due to Weil 300 (Dean's office) or or ed to ​ by 5PM  February 1st: Be available for interviews Follow all instructions carefully!
