4. Naviance and the Common App
Naviance is a web-based resource for staff, students, that encourages and supports post high school career and college planning.
Common App is where students apply. Naviance is how counselors communicate and monitor students application process as well as send important documents.
All juniors have been introduced and active on Naviance
Sophomores will be introduced in May 2017

SAT (II) Subject Tests
Subject Tests (includes Literature, History, Math, Sciences, Foreign Languages)
2-3 are usually required for more competitive schools
Correlate with field of study (Engineering majors need math and physics)
Students can take up to 3 SAT Subject tests on same date – 1 hour each
Students cannot take both SAT Reasoning and SAT Subject tests on the same day
Registration deadline is approximately 1 month before test date
Score choice provides students with the ability to pick and choose which scores to submit to their colleges when the time comes
