Culture Clash Managing the Global High-Performance Team A 2-day workshop building cross-cultural management skills to get the job done anywhere

“Culture Clash” on ABC News [Click on image below to play video]

Why a “Culture Clash” workshop? The “Culture Clash” workshop helps leaders and organizations develop the global and intercultural competencies it takes to manage across cultures anywhere in the world. Like it or not, all of us are touched by globalization. But few leaders are prepared for working across borders, and the costs of cultural blind-spots can be immense – from lawsuits to lost opportunities.

What does the workshop do? It prepares leaders to parachute into any culture and get the job done while respecting local customs. It trains managers to decode any national or organizational culture and avoid costly mistakes when managing across borders. It builds global high-performance teams where each member contributes to success. It helps an organization develop its global leadership asset.

What does “Culture Clash” cover? Self-assessment: what is your cross-cultural IQ? The Pyramid of Global Results: how to prevent costly culture clashes Global Integrator™: how to decode any culture How to build a global championship team How to run global meetings and teleconferences successfully

What makes the workshop different? Participants see the workshop not as a mere event, but as a sustainable process: –We interview key participants to customize workshops in partnership with team leaders –We care about “Monday morning”: can participants apply and sustain their new competencies afterwards? –We hold follow-up calls so the new skills take hold. Participants go beyond theory: they design, declare and launch breakthrough initiatives that enable them to learn leadership and coaching in the action. Participants use Thomas D. Zweifel’s path- breaking book Culture Clash as a reference in the whole process.

Who is “Culture Clash” for? Senior executives in the private sector, nonprofits and government who must work across organizational or national borders. Cross-cultural, cross-border or highly diverse teams performing below expectations or not working well together: –Global functional teams –Transnational sales or retail teams –Global boards of directors –Virtual organizations

Who are the workshop instructors? They have without exception worked in multiple cultures. They are leaders in their field who have demonstrated a firm grasp of both teaching and applying in-action the our methodology. Our certified instructors are all seasoned trainers with a solid track-record of enhancing clients’ performance and catalyzing uncommon results. They are committed to being unattached to approaches that prove unproductive. They never cease learning. They are coached by our CEO Dr. Thomas D. Zweifel, (pictured to the right) Columbia leadership professor and author.

Who are our clients?

What do our clients say about us? Swiss Consulting Group is far more effective and is of far greater value for money... Many one day or two day courses fire you up but do not put in place any back up system to let you channel your new enthusiasm once you are back in the office. Swiss Consulting Group has a very different approach which is far more inspiring and supports you long term.” “You were standing in our success as though it were your own. It is safe to say that without your input we would not be facing what we all now see as an extraordinarily bright future.” “The essence of coaching is awareness of myself. I broke through the basic rules that I had imposed on myself.” "We need more people like you."

Who is Swiss Consulting Group? We are a New York-based global performance management company with representatives on five continents. Our 3 core competencies are leadership coaching, cross-cultural management, and political risk consulting. We combine “soft” and “hard” skills in coaching clients to produce uncommon accomplishments. Our experienced coaches have helped clients in all sectors (corporate, government, UN, nonprofit, educational, military) to produce extraordinary results.
